A Daily Log of your baby's care…
Your Doula will note and track your baby's daily and nightly schedule, developmental activities, feedings, sleep patterns and more. Your Doula will provide detailed log notes each day and meet with you daily at first, then weekly or bi-weekly at parent's convenience to discuss the baby's developmental progress and changing needs as well as parents' needs and preferences.
Support for your choice of feeding methods...
Your Doula will support you with either breast and/or bottle feeding methods as you choose, provide informed knowledge on this topic and follow your decisions. She will assist by cleaning all bottle feeding and pumping equipment. She will feed your baby at times as you prefer and/or skillfully help you as you learn to feed your baby with ease, giving gentle suggestions and positive encouragement.
Your Doula may provide parent education through hands-on demonstrations, such as first diapering, sponge bathing, dressing, etc. This is usually helpful to new parents gaining skills and confidence, learn about their baby’s safety, development and contentment.
Establishing Baby's Routine…
Parents and Doulas working together can help babies gently and gradually move toward a daily schedule that supports their optimal development and helps them form healthy, easy sleep habits. This also helps parents gain more ease, predictability, and babies can sleep through the night 8 hrs by three months of age.
Carte Blanche Doulas provide 24-7 services for one to three months beginning at birth. This includes support for forming sleep habits. Within three months, if the doula is starting after birth, healthy full term babies can be gently sleep-trained by your doula.

Your doula will provide complete nursery care and organizing of baby's clothing, closets and drawers, gifts, equipment, changing and play areas, bedding, etc.
Lite house keeping…
When time allows, your doula will tidy up the home environment, asking you which areas you would most like help with. These lite daily tasks are intuitive, but your preferences are noted.
Breastfeeding assistance…
Includes latching assistance, timing, burping, breast care and more
Bonding Information and Demonstrations…
Show and tell bonding activities and information for both moms and dads, includes skin to skin, visual connection, general handling and interacting.
Swaddling, comforting and helping baby to sleep…
Your doula will show you some swaddling techniques and help you practice them, show you ways to help your baby transition from awake time to bedtime. This will support baby's sleep training.
Sponge Bathing and Baby's Full Bath…
Each day and often twice a day your baby will need gentle washing. This can be a lovely time to interact and build trust with your baby. Your doula will demonstrate and help you get used to this routine or simply do it for you as needed.
Infant massage…
This activity is a pleasure for babies when introduced gently and gradually. Observing and or trying your hand at baby massage is a joyful time for babies, caregivers and parents. As you prefer, your doula will provide baby massage at bath times.
Establishing breastfeeding and bottle feeding of breast-milk…
For mothers who choose to breastfeed, the combination of both methods often works well and be supportive, after breastfeeding is well established. Then your doula can feed breastmilk in a bottle during the night night so you can get more sleep.
Developmental play techniques and equipment…
If you choose this option your doula will guide you in purchasing a few items to foster early development and teach you how to optimize and enjoy play that supports many areas of your baby's development. This is a unique aspect of our services parents love.
Outings or travel with baby, planning and packing…
Your doula will go along with you on outings whenever you choose to take your baby. This might include walks, restaurant meals, trips, or visits with friends or family. This may include travel and stays in another residence out of state or abroad. Travel arrangements require advance notice and planning with your doula during hiring and beyond. Your doula will help keep your baby on the original time zome schedule or adjust to a new time zoe depending on the length of time you will be away.
Gentle Sleep Training...
Carte Blanche Doulas are skilled at sleep training babies gently and gradually to achieve eight hours of sleep at night by age 3 months.
Hospital Services After Birth…
You can reach out to your Doula if you have a need for support in the hospital after the birth of your baby. 24 hr baby care and mother support can be provided in your room or suite.
General emotional support…
Your Carte Blanche Doula offers emotional support and when needed may help with special needs. In all cases the doula together with parents maintain close contact with the family's medical team for advice regarding any concerns about the baby's or mother's well being. doulas follow parent's decisions regarding seeking and implementing medical advice. The parent makes all decisions in such cases.

How to Reserve Carte Blanche Doula Services
To reserve your Carte Blanche Doula Services well in advance of your due date, reach out for assistance by emailing Carte Blanche international Parent Services, cbintds@gmail.com. You will receive a response within 24hrs. If we have a doula available for your due date and required service schedule, we will plan an online meeting to learn more about your needs and preferences. This will be arranged promptly, at your most convenient date and time within our business hours, between 10AM and 6PM Monday through Saturday.
Within your email, please provide us with your name, due date, your primary location, other locations where you anticipate needing services, any domestic or International travel expected and the amount of time you anticipate wanting doula services. Carte Blanche Doulas offer 24-7 continuous service from one to three months, beginning at birth.
